Eight months into her real estate career, Amanda Rahlf is already proving that it is never too late to bet on yourself.

Fresh off earning a place in Homestead Realty’s June Million Dollar Club, Amanda has quickly turned a new career into real momentum—closing transactions, navigating a competitive market and reaching milestones she set her sights on from the beginning.

Before earning her real estate license, Amanda spent five and a half years as a Scentsy consultant. She knew she loved sales, building relationships and connecting with people, but she was ready to turn those strengths into a full-time career with greater income potential.

Real estate felt like the right next step.

Her first major win came quickly. Amanda closed her first transaction less than three months after becoming licensed, and she has not slowed down since.

Finding the Right Fit in Real Estate

One of the biggest surprises for Amanda has been how much she genuinely enjoys the day-to-day work.

As a natural people person, she thrives in the conversations, relationships and problem-solving that come with guiding clients through a real estate transaction.

The learning curve, however, has been greater than she expected.

“Even Mike and Nicole are constantly learning. You’re never done in this business.”

That ongoing education is something Amanda has embraced. At Homestead, she has been able to learn from experienced brokers and agents while developing her own approach to the business.

Her biggest lesson so far is that there is no single formula for getting a deal accepted.

Every client, property and transaction comes with different circumstances. Success requires patience, education, flexibility and the ability to recognize that there is usually more than one path forward.

Growing Through a Competitive Market

Amanda considers navigating her first spring market one of her proudest accomplishments. She balanced competitive offers, active clients and family life while continuing to build her business. The experience was intense, but it showed her exactly what she was capable of accomplishing. Reaching the Million Dollar Club less than a year into her career is another sign that her consistency is paying off.

Amanda’s next goal is even bigger: 25 closings in 2027.

And she is already building the momentum to get there.

“I want to go big.”

It Is Never Too Late to Start

Amanda’s story is a reminder that a successful real estate career is not determined by when you begin.

It is determined by how willing you are to work, learn and remain consistent.

Her advice to anyone hesitating because they think they are too old, too inexperienced or starting too late is simple:

“You’re never too old to get into real estate. Success isn’t determined by age. It’s determined by effort, consistency and being willing to learn.”

At Homestead Realty, agents have the independence to build a business that reflects their goals,

along with the broker support, training and resources they need as they grow.

Amanda bet on herself. Eight months later, she is closing deals, earning recognition and building a career with no intention of playing small.
