Who We Are &
Why It Matters
Homestead Realty was built on a simple belief: agents deserve independence without isolation. Since 1975, we’ve grown intentionally — not by adding layers, but by strengthening infrastructure.
Broker Support, Within Reach.

Nicole Borowski

"We built this model intentionally so agents never have to choose between freedom and real support."

Michael Borowski
Broker/Owner
"Real estate is personal. Your business should reflect who you are, not force you into someone else’s system. Homestead exists so great agents can build their own path — with the support they deserve behind them."

Reena Manhoff
Supervising Broker
"Broker access isn’t about emergencies, it’s about strategy. The best decisions are made when agents have leadership in their corner before they need it.”

Terry Jeske
Managing Broker
“Behind every successful transaction is a strong support system. I love helping our agents navigate the details so they can focus on growing their business.”
Marketing & Business Development

Autumn Carroll
Director of Marketing & Business Development
"One of my favorite parts of this role is watching agents fully own their brand. At Homestead, we don’t box that in, we support it."

Hannah Ashland
Events & Marketing Coordinator
"When agents show up confidently online, everything changes. My goal is to help them own that space, not shrink in it.

Jennifer Dombrowski
Accounting
“My goal is to make sure agents always feel supported and taken care of. When the behind-the-scenes runs smoothly, our agents can focus on what matters most — their clients.”

Donna Herald
Accounts Payable
“Details matter in real estate. I love being the person agents can rely on to keep everything organized, accurate, and moving forward.”

Caylee Herald
Reception/Accounts Receivable
“Whether it’s answering a question or helping solve a problem, I’m here to make sure our agents always have someone they can turn to.”

A Simple Belief.
Homestead Realty was founded on the idea that agents deserve independence — without isolation. From the beginning, the goal wasn’t to build something bigger. It was to build something better.
1975
Expansion with Intention
Growth followed — but not recklessly. Offices expanded, agents joined, and production increased — yet the focus remained the same: strengthen support without sacrificing independence.
The brokerage evolved carefully, preserving culture while refining structure.
1990's
Infrastructure, Strengthened
As the industry shifted, systems mattered more than ever. Training became more structured. Broker accessibility became more defined. Technology became integrated, not scattered.

Growth wasn’t about adding noise — it was about reinforcing what worked.
2000's
Leadership, Renewed.
Mike and Nicole stepped into ownership with a shared commitment: preserve the independence agents value while strengthening the structure that supports them.

The vision wasn’t to reinvent Homestead. It was to reinforce what made it work — and refine it for the modern market.
2019
A New Chapter in Tosa
The move into the Wauwatosa office marked more than a relocation — it represented momentum. A refreshed space built to reflect growth, collaboration, and the evolving needs of today’s agents.
Progress remained intentional.
2022
Built for What's Next.
Homestead has grown to nearly 300 agents across six offices — a reflection of steady, deliberate expansion.
Broker access remains central.
Marketing is built in.
Coaching is ongoing.
Technology is integrated.
The belief from 1975 still holds true: independence works best when it’s supported.
And that difference still matters.
today

Independent but,
Never Alone
Independence doesn’t mean operating in isolation. At Homestead, collaboration is part of the structure, not an afterthought. Agents share strategies, celebrate wins, and support one another through challenges. Accessibility isn’t limited to leadership; it extends across the organization.
Beyond our internal culture, we remain actively engaged in the communities we serve. From local involvement to brokerage events and outreach efforts, connection matters — inside the office and beyond
B.U.I.L.D. Your Homestead
A Culture That Works Together
While every agent runs their business independently, the environment at Homestead encourages collaboration. Questions get answered. Wins are shared. Knowledge moves quickly. The result is an atmosphere where growth feels supported rather than solitary.

Community Involvement
Real estate is local, and so is our involvement. Across our offices, Homestead agents and leadership regularly support the communities we serve—participating in local events, sponsoring neighborhood initiatives, and showing up where it matters.
From charity partnerships and community gatherings to local sponsorships and volunteer efforts, our presence extends beyond transactions. We believe strong communities create strong businesses, and we’re proud to invest in the places our agents call home.

Where Agents Support Agents
At Homestead, every agent runs their business independently — but no one operates alone. Collaboration is part of the culture. Agents share strategies, celebrate wins, and support one another through challenges.
Questions are welcomed. Knowledge moves quickly. Success is shared. The environment encourages growth without competition getting in the way.

More Than Just a Brokerage
At Homestead, agents build businesses supported by real relationships, shared knowledge, and accessible leadership. While every agent operates independently, the environment encourages collaboration, connection, and growth. It’s a place where experience is shared, questions are welcomed, and success is something the entire community celebrates.
